Looking to cool down in the current heatwave?  We have the perfect fruit and herb-infused water recipes to try during these hot summer days. Paired with an Arnett’s Water Systems water treatment plan, these infused water recipes are tasty and great for your health.

What is Infused Water?

You may have heard of the term “infused water,” but may not know exactly what it is. It’s water that is filled with various fruits and herbs and has several health benefits that boost your immune system.  Infused water is not only fun to make, but is a great way to get your daily dose of nutrients and vitamins. The refreshing taste of infused water makes it easier to increase your daily water intake and stay hydrated.

Follow These Steps:

  1. Put fruit and herbs in a mason jar.
  2. Pour your treated and filtered water to the rim.
  3. Place in the refrigerator for 2 hours (or leave overnight).
  4. Drink and enjoy your fruit and herb-infused water!

The following four recipes include only natural flavors from fruits and herbs:

Blues N' Peach

What You’ll Need:

  • A mason jar
  • ½ cup of blueberries
  • ½ of a peach
  • ¼ cup of basil

Health Benefits:

Blueberries are known for being loaded with antioxidants. They help reduce inflammation and can lower your risk of heart disease and cancer. Peaches are an excellent source of vitamin C and help you stay extra hydrated (that’s a win-win for this infused water recipe). Basil has many fantastic benefits, as well. It’s great for digestion, inflammation, and can even help with your mood!
